The Baja S.A.E. Racing club is an on campus club at Central Michigan University that builds and races off roading vehicles against other college teams. Ethan Williams is the President of the section at CMU, he talks about what they do in the club. He also shares some issues they’ve had in the past year, whether that be during a competition or during the building process. The team came together and solved every issue quickly and was able to continue competing or working despite things working against them. Williams spoke about how CMU has a much smaller team than some of the other schools that they compete against and how he hopes to grow the Baja team at Central. While they are still capable as the small team they are, it will make competitions much better for Central Michigan’s team if they are a more comparable size to the other teams. Williams has learned a lot about how to successfully work with a team of people as well as how to successfully lead a group to success in high pressure situations. He also believes that the club prepares people for the professional field with cars by giving them those high pressure situations.

This is only the second video story that I have shot and edited. I think that it looks a lot better than my first video did, but I’m still not sure that its great. I think that the shots I got for this video were much better than the ones in my first video. There wasn’t a lot in my first video that I could shoot, she didn’t have a lot going on, so I tried to record parts of her room and wardrobe. For this video I was able to record them working on and driving the car. I had a couple days that I went back to get footage for this video, I got lucky and they had a test day coming up when I asked them if I could use them to film. So, I was able to go to the test day as well as go into the shop and record them working on the car. I think that editing the interview for this video was a little more difficult than the last one because I was struggling to decide what I could take out while still making the audio make sense. But, having all the footage that I shot for this made the editing process a lot easier.
